At last, my newtons came in, WOOOOOO. Anyway I had a pretty destructive weekend, there is no problem drinking and training (see prefontaine/rod dixon) but I have to stay hydrated. My mouth is all messed up from being so overly dehydrated so I have been drinking water all day and am feeling better. Anyways today I ran in the Newtons and it felt very good. I ran around the track doing 400's then walking the 200's over the course of 3 miles. My left calf muscle is getting stronger after every session. I'm going to bed early tonight.
Thursday 3/5
I did my session of running 400's and walking 200's over 24 laps, altogether I am running over 2 miles. I really feel out of shape, I do not think this running and walking is going to cut it. But I am not sure if I should risk running all at once for the sake of my legs. I have to do some thinking. Overall I felt good, although I have my doubts sometimes I have faith that I will get there. Maybe next week I will try running 5 minutes then walking 2 minutes in the park? Who the fuck knows, I just need to get my LEGS in shape, I have naturally good endurance so that will come, I just need to massage my legs more. I finished my laps for laps with Jon and Mark. I think I need to start running with people because that makes me feel better overall.
Saturday 3/7
I will do anything to just have my left calf feel good, it feels different from before the surgery but it just doesn't feel like it's working. If there is a god than he will help me out here.
